I just looked at Ally Pinder's blogs-her beautiful art/photography-and I thought I would try my hand at this. I may never write on here, I may write on here all the time. I am watching Guys Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives- I loves that show! Guy is so funny and all of those cool foods, I tell you what, I could have that job and LOVE it! I am all about the working class man, the independent business owner, the little restaurant owner...I wish we had more places like this around here. On another note, summer is almost over :o( It has been so wonderful...from a new house, the pimpin' Jeep, tomatoes and Laredos, to lots of time with Manda and getting up early and cooking my own breakfast-drinking coffee while reading my bible on the back porch-I have enjoyed doing things that I like and not only things that cater to my students... don't get me wrong, I love my students and can't wait to meet the new ones. Hmm...it is very interesting how half of a person wants one thing and the other half wants something else!! :o) Ain't life annoying and grand at the same time. And, yes, I teach grammar!!! Hey, the word 'ain't' is actually in the dictionary...that's the south coming out in me, I say. Nothin' wrong with that.
Nothing wrong with going to bed and reading on The Hobbit at 11:00 either! :o)
